Built for the MAN TGE, Mercedes-Benz Sprinter and VW Crafter, STORM combines a permanent rear bed, equipment garage, fitted kitchen and separate wet room, with space for a comfortable lounge and additional travel seating.
Space matters. So does the weight required to make it work. We use lightweight aluminium furniture to help control conversion weight and preserve payload for passengers, water, bikes and equipment. Battery capacity, tank sizes and exterior accessories are considered together: every addition contributes to the vehicle’s total weight and axle loading.
Your equipment shapes the design. Bike dimensions determine garage clearance. Your height determines bed length. Electrical demand determines battery and charging capacity. We develop these around the vehicle’s weight limits, with attention to where heavier components are positioned. STORM provides the layout foundation. Your requirements determine the finished specification.
The longer body gives us room for a permanent bed, separate washroom and larger garage without using the same space for several functions.
That extra room needs careful weight management. More space does not automatically mean more payload. We plan the build around what you need to carry, balancing furniture, onboard systems and accessories against the capacity needed for passengers and fully loaded travel.
STORM Build Specification
Bespoke long-wheelbase conversions for MAN TGE, VW Crafter and Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. Layout, payload, electrical demand and equipment storage are developed as one complete specification. The components below show the systems we offer; your final configuration is confirmed during design.
Construction & Interior

Furniture: bespoke lightweight aluminium cabinetry and overhead storage, with secure travel catches and soft-close drawer mechanisms.

Insulation: acoustic dampening and thermal insulation to habitation walls, doors and ceiling, with additional cab insulation available.

Interior finishes: automotive Alcantara wall lining, CNC-cut SurfDek ceiling panels and LVT habitation flooring.

Glazing: opening safari windows, rooflights and vehicle-specific side pods with integrated windows and blackout blinds.
Bed, Seating & Upholstery

Bed configuration: fixed transverse or lengthways platform bed, with electric lifting-bed and convertible rear-lounge configurations available.

Sleep system: custom-sized memory-foam mattress with modular sprung support beneath.

Travel seating: approved two-person rear seat with integrated three-point belts and structural floor reinforcement.

Lounge: vehicle-specific cab swivels, single- or dual-leaf tables and custom leather upholstery for cab and rear seating.
Kitchen & Appliances

Cabinetry: bespoke aluminium kitchen units, fitted worktop and splashback, with slide-out preparation surfaces and external fold-down table options.

Cooking: built-in twin induction hob with dedicated protected mains supply.

Refrigeration: Dometic 70L under-counter fridge-freezer, with drawer and tall slimline alternatives.

Appliances & plumbing: integrated Dometic three-in-one microwave, air fryer and grill; stainless-steel sink, fitted tap and optional boiling-water system.
Electrical System & Control

12V architecture: 300Ah lithium battery system with 3,000W inverter, Victron charging equipment, monitoring, isolation and protected distribution.

Battery capacity: 460Ah replacement or 600Ah total-capacity configurations, with compatible charging, cabling and circuit protection.

Charging: alternator charging, 300W roof solar with matched controller, 400W panel upgrade and shore-power connection.

Control & outlets: Garmin 10-inch touchscreen upgrade, dimmable LED lighting, removable reading lights, 13A sockets and USB-A/USB-C charging.

High-output architecture: 24V and 48V upgrades, including a 48V package with Roamer battery, Arco Zeus leisure alternator and Victron MultiPlus 48/6500.

Washroom: sealed wet-room enclosure with shower tray, tambour door and fitted shower hardware; OGO composting or Clesana C1 waterless sealing toilet options.
