Wildworx Campervan Conversions, Campervan Sales and Campervan Store can help you achieve the dream off-grid lifestyle.
Wildworx wants to inspire you to explore what’s around that bend in the road and help you get off the beaten track. Giving you the freedom to “Play Dirty.”
The Short Story
Wildworx was founded by Katie and Frazer Johnson. A shared love of camping and the outdoor lifestyle has led to converting over 500 campervans and selling our camper equipment to thousands of people online.
The Long Story
Wildworx launched in 2019 with the aim of helping our customers get out there and explore the world. Our team has traveled the world in various campers, big and small.
From the dramatic highlands of Scotland to the unforgiving outback of Australia. Thousands of nights have been spent under the stars.
When Wildworx was founded, we wanted to create a business that meant we could share our love of traveling with as many people as possible. We wanted to help people with their once in a lifetime adventures, wild camping expeditions and big overland trips.
Over the years we’ve helped people who have sold their home, and are heading off to Europe in their camper with no real plan. Families who have been through rough times and are using the camper to bring a bit of happiness back into their lives.
People who just want to make the most of every last drop of their weekends.
Do you need help converting your campervan or are you looking for accessories to take your van to the next level? Wildworx is here to help. Our team has taken on Death Valley, trekked to Everest Base Camp, hiked the highlands and RV’d through Australia.
Now we want to help you explore the world and get off the hard beaten path.
Founder - Frazer
From the age of 21 Frazer worked in the film industry. Building props for some of the biggest films out there, including the Harry Potter franchise. In 2008 Frazer tried to hire a Campervan for a trip, but everything was either fully booked or 20+ years old. Frazer built his first campervan that year.
In the 13+ years that have followed he has gone from DIY self-builder to a professional campervan converter. He’s undergone various training courses bringing his skills inline with NCC standards.
Frazer loves working with lots of different materials, but particularly wood. You can often see this in our conversions.
Frazer has spent years traveling the world in campervans, tents, as well as sleeping on the side of roads on a thousand mile motorbike trip. He knows what’s needed in a van, right down to the tiny details, this makes him a true craftsman.
His experience has helped bring Wildworx into the mainstream. Making it the go to destination for campervan conversions, vehicle sales and accessories. Frazer is always on hand to answer your campervan questions.
Founder - Katie
Katie is the founder of Wildworx Campervan Conversions. She has always had an interest in camping, travelling all over the world from Europe and USA, to Asia and the Himalayas. Once back in the UK she worked for The Camping and Caravanning Club, taking the club to events and exhibitions across the country.
It was during this time that she became obsessed with campervans and camper conversions. She worked for a large campervan hire company, based in Scotland. Helping thousands of people explore the highlands in VW Transporters and larger motorhomes. This gave Katie a unique insight into what people wanted from their campervan.
It became clear to Katie that she wanted to create a business that helped people live the off-grid lifestyle. This, over time, became Wildworx.
Working With Brands
Wildworx only works with brands that carry our values. We have converted hundreds of campers, and we only sell items in our store that we’ve used on our own vans.
We want to make sure our community is getting the best. More importantly we want to ensure the equipment we stock is safe for our customers to use.
The Future of Wildworx
The future of Wildworx is exciting. The camper and vanlife industry grows every year with more people wanting to explore an alternative lifestyle.
People are bored of magnolia hotels with £20 bottles of water, and a view of a brick wall. We want big skies and days full of windswept laughter.
Thousands of customers later, we want to continue to help people curate their own alternative lifestyle. We want to continue to grow the bank of self-build conversion guides on our site, convert more of our own campervans and continue to help people live the off-grid lifestyle. If you want any more information from Wildworx, please get in touch. We love hearing from you.
