Conversion Technician

Wildworx is an exciting Campervan Conversion company based in Alcester. Focusing on high-end, off-grid & off road Campervan Conversions. We’re looking to add another enthusiastic, experienced person to our small, hardworking team. The successful candidate will have an interest in custom vehicles & outstanding attention to detail.

Duties & responsibilities:

• Stripping down of new vehicles 
• Cutting into roof and bodywork 
• Fitting pop top roofs and adding strengthening frames
• Installing 12v electrics
• Carpet lining and insulation 
• Fitting rear beds and seats
• Fitting underslung tanks 
• LPG system install
• Building the campervan furniture from CNC elements
• Fault finding and rectification
• General modifications to original vehicle build, including off-road kits, coilovers, etc.

Key Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret customer briefs
• Fault finding and rectification work
• Effective verbal and written communication
• Ability to work effectively under own initiative
• Ability to demonstrate high level of attention to detail
• Experience of mechanical, woodwork and/or metal work would be beneficial

Essential:

• NVQ level 2 (or min 3 years Coach Building/Commercial vehicle conversions experience)
• Full UK driving licence

What we offer: 

30 days holiday per year
£21,000 - £35,000 per annum (depending on experience) 
Flexible hours
Monday - Friday: 9am to 5pm
