With a passion for exploration and a keen eye for detail, our team embarked on a journey to enhance every aspect of this van, from its performance to its practicality.

Enhancing Suspension and Performance

The foundation of any off-road or adventure vehicle begins with a solid suspension system. Our first task was to install an OEM Full Air Suspension VW Compliant Auto Level System, complete with sports, parked, and off-road modes. 

VB Air Suspension not only ensures a smooth ride on any terrain but also provides the flexibility needed to tackle various driving conditions with ease.

Protection for Uncharted Territories

Off-road excursions demand robust protection, which is why we added a 6mm Aluminium Engine Sump Guard. This guard offers a shield against potential damage to the engine and undercarriage, granting you the confidence to explore even the most challenging terrains.

Carrying the Adventure Gear

We installed a genuine VW California Bike Rack in black and a Front Runner Slimline II Roof Rack, providing ample space for bikes, cargo, and other adventure gear. 

The Front Runner Pro Ski, Snowboard & Fishing Rod Carrier further extends the van's carrying capacity, ensuring that all outdoor enthusiasts are well-prepared for their journeys.

Creating Basecamp

No adventure is complete without a comfortable campsite set up, and our upgrades focused on achieving just that. The Front Runner Easy Out Awning 2.5m and the Front Runner Pro Stainless Steel Camp Table offer versatile outdoor living spaces, while the Front Runner Quick Release Awning Mount Kit ensures quick and hassle-free setup.

Illuminating the Path

Navigating through challenging environments requires proper lighting. Our enhancements included a 40" Front LED Light Bar with an Off-Road Performance Shield, delivering an impressive 8000 lumens.

Additionally, we strategically mounted Wide Beam LED Light Cubes to the rear corners, a 1.2m LED Light Strip on the front runner, and an Auxbeam LED Light Control Panel for customisable illumination options.

Powering Up Off the Grid

Off-grid adventures demand reliable power solutions. We integrated a 12V Leisure System, complete with a 110 Ah leisure battery, digital battery reader, and multi-fuse distribution unit. 

The Victron B2B charger and Victron Orion TR smart non-isolated DC-DC charger ensure a steady power supply, while the Berker USB+ USB-C charge point and 12V Cigar Charge Socket offer convenient charging options throughout the van.

Creature Comforts

A crucial aspect of any adventure is access to clean water and creature comforts. Our modifications included an underslung fresh water tank with a winterisation kit and an external shower point. 

An Eberspacher Diesel Night Heater with external mount vents for passengers and dogs. These additions ensure that the Swamper Van remains functional and comfortable, regardless of the weather.

Elevated Audio Experience

To enhance the interior experience, we upgraded the audio system with an Alpine B-Pillar and Cab Door Speaker & Tweeter Kit. This upgrade ensures crystal-clear sound, turning every drive into an immersive auditory experience.
